50 bags and boxes as of Nov.10

Hey everyone,

Things have been busy. Which is, AMAZING. In a little more than one week, we’ve collected more than 17 bags/boxes of clothing which brings our total to 50 bags and boxes of warm winter donations! Edmontonians are remarkable.

On Saturday, Nov.7, I collected eight bags which brought our total to 37:

Just a few days later, the donation box at 102.3 Now! Radio had already filled up…in only one week. Four jam-packed bags and boxes were collected bringing our total to 41:

So far this week, we’ve already received some generous donations (two huge boxes) of used, but in great condition, steel-toed boots from a generous Now! family member at Versa Cold:

And today, Nov.10, we removed the donation box at West Edmonton Mall which helped us collect seven bags of generous donations. I’d like to thank West Edmonton Mall for their incredible support and promotion of #bundleupyeg. It’s been an honour working with them!

I’m hoping to get this recent round of donations to Hope Mission over the coming weekend. We will have roughly 22 bags/boxes of donations to deliver to them. Here’s a snapshot of some of the donations headed their way:

As of today, we are sitting at 50 bags/boxes of donations for #bundleupyeg – we only need 150 more donations to reach my goal of 200 bags/boxes this year. We can do it!

From the bottom of my hear, thank you Edmonton. Words cannot express my gratitude for how much this city has embraced my small idea and turned it into something much bigger. I am so grateful.
