I’m thrilled to announce that #Bundleupyeg is collaborating with the amazing Ashley Green — who is the soul, heart and mastermind behind Love Letters 2 Strangers — to create two Bundle of Love workshops.
Ashley began Love Letters in 2011 and created a movement within Edmonton that spreads kindness through the written word. She is an inspiring and uplifting woman who continues to make our city a better place.
Together, we will be hosting two sessions on Dec.7 (please register if you plan to attend) in the hopes of spreading a little winter love to this fantastic city! During the session, you will have an opportunity to write, decorate and personalize your own “love letters” to take home and deliver throughout Edmonton or to leave with us so we can distribute them.
We will take any letters that are written and “donated”/left from the workshop and leave them in the pockets/gloves/sneaky spots of warm clothes donations to bring a bit of extra joy to the people that receive them!
We will be asking people to bring donations of their gently used winter clothing so that we can collect and deliver them to homeless centers and support organizations in Edmonton – if you have extra warm things laying around, bring them down!
A note about the space:
Cory Christopher is an amazing florist, designer, and creative mind in the city of Edmonton and has graciously donated his beautiful space for our #BundleofLove workshop. He will also be hosting a Christmas Market during the day of the workshop so there will be incredible things and live craftsmanship to Oooo and Ahhh over!
We are so excited about this opportunity and encourage anyone interested to join us in spreading bundles of love around our great city.
